In all honesty, this book is among the best investments I have made. It’s among the very simplified versions of knowing the heart of any company i.e. its financial statements. Bear in mind the key in company is creating better business decisions – do not be too impressed by people who can spout GAAP in the beginning with when you do not know. This publication is written in a style which won’t place even non-accountants to sleep and it paints sufficient images with illustrations of accounting misdeeds to keep it interesting – and also to actually drive home how apparently benign (in some instances ) changes to the way trades are listed and paint a very different image of the health of a company.
